Grindin' Diamonds is a production company in Austin, TX owned and directed by Bonny MacDonald.
We offer both event production services and talent for a variety of events. Our experience allows us to understand the needs of both the client, the market and entertainers, in order to ensure a memorable time was had by all.
This creates return business as well as loyal, professional talent to rely upon.
This company was built upon 10+ years of experience from all angles of the entertainment industry. Originally a concert promoter in Portland, OR, Bonny moved into the world of burlesque while living in New Orleans, LA. This lead her to directing go-go dancers for clubs, DJs, and live bands. During that time, she was spotted and sought out by various event production companies for her take charge personality, knack for problem solving, resourcefulness, and reliability.
Her experience not only lies in a diverse array of event types, but through analysis of local market and demographic needs, from Portland, OR, to New Orleans, and most recently in Austin, TX. Bonny has a B.A. in Cultural Anthopology, which enhances her experience and understanding of working with diverse clientele, or catering an event toward a particular market.
While industry standards, professionalism and ethics allow us to cater to our corporate clients, our specialty and passion lies in burlesque and night life events, including pre-production, production, theme parties, and concept events.
We hire talent based on their proven professionalism, good attitude, bright smiles, and outgoing personalities that enliven all atmospheres!

Lily now co-produces New Orleans' most cutting edge burlesque troupe, Slow Burn Burlesque, who have paired up with Grindin' Diamonds on numerous occassions to exceed the expectations of entertainment audiences, by offering innovative events that push the boundaries of both live entertainment with a nod to classic vaudvillian antics.
